Tree Planting At Songani Primary School

Last month we returned to Songani Primary School to plant their tree seedlings into their woodlot with the help of the staff and students.

Malawi is heading toward environmental unsustainability and according to a research paper (2013) at current rates of deforestation, Malawi will be without trees by 2033.

Planting trees not only helps those suffering directly from the effects of climate change but can help to rebuild whole ecosystems and restore our planet to its natural beauty.
