One of our goals at Songani is to create an HIV free generation. Sex and relationship education is key to this goal and vital in helping prevent further HIV transmissions.

Recently, our Hope Ambassadors Youth Group received safe sex and relationship training. They were guided on the qualities needed to be a good counsellor with the ultimate aim of equipping them with skills that they can use during their outreach campaigns in the surrounding communities, as well as amongst their peers. 

This was an exciting opportunity for the youth who were also given time with the faciliator to address their fears and expectations regarding sex and relationships. They left with smiles on their face, content in the knowledge that their concerns had been addressed and ready to share their new found knowledge.
