Exploring Malawi: A Journey of Partnership and Impact with Manor Academy

Visits coordinator talking to school students about their trip to Malawi

We had a wonderful time at Manor Academy in York last Friday! Our team had the privilege of meeting a group of 36 students who will be joining us on an upcoming trip to Malawi later this year. We're thrilled to have the opportunity to explore this beautiful country with them and show them the amazing work that we do.

During our visit, we gave the students a taste of what they can expect on their trip and even started teaching them some Chichewa, the local language. It was incredible to see their enthusiasm and excitement for this upcoming adventure.

We also had the pleasure of catching up with the staff at Manor Academy and the students who have been supporting our Songani Community Centre for many years through their non-uniform day donations. It's heartwarming to know that their generosity has made a difference in the lives of the people we serve. The centre provides essential services, such as HIV testing and counseling, to the local community. We're grateful for their ongoing support and partnership.

Thank you again to the staff and students of Manor Academy for making our visit so special! We can't wait to embark on this journey with you later this year. 🌍✈️🌿
