Maintaining our orphan education programme has never been more challenging in the last 20 years than right now. Difficult decisions lay ahead yet we remain determined to change the story of Malawi where only 15% of young people complete secondary education.

With important exams ahead of them, our year 2 students are more focussed than ever.

As Chiyambi moves into its third year since the building opened, here is a snapshot of news.

Recently, 12 children from our Chiyambi Nursery attended their very own Graduation Ceremony.

As is too often the case in Malawi, most of her relatives had dropped out of school due to economic challenges. Despite this, Fellister always worked hard and had bright dreams for her future and her family…

On Wednesday 5th January 2022, an atmosphere of joy and celebration filled the air as the new building of our nursery was officially opened.
